Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an anisotropically conductive adhesive coating possessing excellent properties, by mixing a polymer-grafted conductive carbon black with a specified polymer and a specified mixed solvent. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive coating is prepared by dissolving by dispersing polymer A-grafted conductive carbon black and, optionally, a polymer A' akin to the polymer A and a polymer B incompatible with the polymers A and A' in a mixed solvent comprising a solvent M having a high solvency for the polymers A and A' and a solvent N having a rate of evaporation lower than that of the solvent M, being a poor solvent for the polymers A and A' and showing a higher solvency for the polymer B. The amount of said polymer A-graft carbon black added is about 30wt.%, based on the total content of the coating when this amount is below 10wt.%, the obtained adhesive paint is lacking in conductivity, and when it is above 70wt.%, the coating is made conductive as a whole undesirably.
