CONSTITUTION:The objective plant-treating agent is produced by compounding 0.1-10wt.% of wood vinegar to a fermented liquid obtained by fermenting cereals with Rhizopus oryzae M-24 strain. The fermented liquid contains a physiologically active substance for plant and promotes the growth of plant when sprayed to a plant, etc. The plant-treating agent is used after diluting 300-1,000 times with water. Seeds are immersed in the solution or the solution is sprayed to the leaf of a plant or to soil. The sprouting and rooting of seed can be accelerated by the treatment and the plant treated with the agent has high resistance against blights.
