Claims (6)
- 제 1 광학 모드와 제 2 광학 모드 사이에서 스위칭가능한 액정 디스플레이 디바이스에 있어서,상기 액정 디스플레이 디바이스는 제 1 섹션(20) 및 상기 제 1 섹션(20)으로 압력 P를 인가함으로써 소거될 수 있는 자신의 적어도 일부분을 포함하고,상기 인가된 압력 P에 의해서 유발되어 그 내부로 유입되는 과잉 액정 유체(5)를 저장하는 확장 챔버(22)를 포함하되,상기 액정 유체(5)의 흐름에 의해서, 상기 제 1 섹션(20)과 상기 확장 챔버(22) 간에 위치한 상기 디스플레이 디바이스의 제 2 섹션(24)에서 디스플레이된 정보가 소거되는액정 디스플레이 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 광학 모드는 투과 모드를 포함하며,상기 제 2 광학 모드는 반사 모드를 포함하는액정 디스플레이 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,100 ㎝ 이하의 만곡 반경을 갖는 기판 플레이트(1,3)를 포함하는액정 디스플레이 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 섹션(20), 상기 제 2 섹션(24) 및 상기 확장 챔버(22)는 각각의 밀도를 갖는 간격 소자들(distance element)(11)을 포함하며,상기 확장 챔버(22) 및/또는 상기 제 1 섹션(20) 내의 상기 간격 소자의 밀도는 상기 제 2 섹션(24) 내의 상기 간격 소자의 밀도 이하인액정 디스플레이 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정 유체(5)는 표면 안정화된 CTLC(a surface stabilized cholesteric texture liquid crystal) 물질을 포함하는액정 디스플레이 디바이스.
- 디스플레이 장치에 있어서,제 1 항에 따른 디스플레이 디바이스와,제어 신호(32) 및 디스플레이 신호(34)를 상기 디스플레이 디바이스에 제공하는 수단(30)을 포함하는디스플레이 장치.
