Claims (9)
- 지지 면과 상기 지지 면으로부터 이격된 커버 면 및, 상기 지지 면과 커버 면을 연결하는 측면을 구비하는 기본 몸체를 가지며, 두 개 또는 그 이상의 인접한 면들은 절삭 에지들을 형성하는 절삭 인서트에 있어서,상기 지지 면은 상기 절삭 인서트와 다른 형상을 갖는 절삭 팁의 지지 면에 분리 불가능하도록 고정되며, 다른 절삭 작업을 위한 것이며,상기 절삭 팁은 상부로부터 보여지는 것이 직사각형의 절삭 면으로 되는 커버 면을 구비하며,상기 절삭 인서트는, 서로 대향하도록 배치되되 언더컷을 형성하기 위하여 아치형 절삭 에지를 구비한 절삭 면으로서 제공되는 두 개의 측면을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 두 개의 지지 면들의 분리 불가능한 결합은 한 개의 몸체로 소결됨으로써 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 절삭 팁은 포지티브 베이스(positive base) 형상, 즉 포지티브 여유 공간을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.

- 지지 면과 상기 지지 면으로부터 이격된 커버 면 및, 상기 지지 면과 커버 면을 연결하는 측면을 구비하는 기본 몸체를 가지며, 두 개 또는 그 이상의 인접한 면들은 절삭 에지들을 형성하는 절삭 인서트에 있어서,상기 지지 면은 상기 절삭 인서트와 다른 형상을 갖는 절삭 팁의 지지 면에 분리 불가능하도록 고정되며, 다른 절삭 작업을 위한 것이며,상기 절삭 팁은 상측에서 보아서 직사각형의 절삭 면으로 형성되는 커버 면을 구비하며,상기 절삭 인서트는 크랭크축에서 오일 릿지 형상을 절삭하기 위하여 서로 대향하도록 배치되는 절삭 면들로서 형성되는 두 개의 측면들을 구비하며,상기 측면들은, 직선으로 형성되고 코너에서 중심점에 대한 각도가 90°인 아치 형상으로 형성된 절삭 에지에 의해 경계가 정해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 지지 면과 상기 지지 면으로부터 이격된 커버 면 및, 상기 지지 면과 커버 면을 연결하는 측면을 구비하는 기본 몸체를 가지며, 두 개 또는 그 이상의 인접한 면들은 절삭 에지들을 형성하는 절삭 인서트에 있어서,상기 지지 면은 상기 절삭 인서트와 다른 형상을 갖는 절삭 팁의 지지 면에 분리 불가능하도록 고정되며, 다른 절삭 작업을 위한 것이며,상기 절삭 팁은 상측에서 보아서 직사각형의 절삭 면으로 형성되는 커버 면을 구비하며,상기 절삭 인서트는 서로 대향하도록 배치되는 절삭 면들로서 형성된 두 개의 측면들을 구비하며,상기 측면들의 절삭 에지들은 적어도 하나 돌출되고, 상기 지지 면에 대해 수직으로 연장된 아치 형상부(arch-shaped section)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항, 제2항, 제4항, 제6항 또는 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,마주하도록 배치된 상기 지지 면들은 서로에 대해 비스듬히 회전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항, 제2항, 제4항, 제6항 또는 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,한 커버 면에서 반대쪽 커버 면까지 연장된 구멍을 통해 조여진 상태로 연장되는 실장 스크류는 가장 긴 절삭 에지보다 짧은 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
