Claims (15)
- 압출 기계로서,
길이 방향, 원주 방향 및 반경 방향을 한정하도록 실린더 형상으로 형성되는 스크루 요소를 구비하고,
상기 스크루 요소는 상기 기계에 의해 처리되는 물질이 도입되는 인-피드 단부(in-feed end)와 상기 물질이 상기 기계에서 배출되는 아웃-피드 단부(out-feed end)를 포함하고, 상기 아웃 피드 단부는 상기 물질의 유동 방향을 따라 상기 인-피드 단부로부터 하류에 있고,
상기 스크루 요소는 상기 인-피드 단부 가까이에 있는 제 1 섹션 및 상기 아웃-피드 단부 가까이에 있는 제 2 섹션을 포함하고, 상기 제 1 섹션 및 제 2 섹션 은 상기 길이 방향을 따라 순차적으로 위치되고, 상기 제 2 섹션은 상기 인-피드 단부로부터 상기 아웃-피드 단부로의 상기 물질의 유동 방향을 따라 상기 제 1 섹션의 하류에 있으며;
상기 제1 섹션은,
상기 원주 방향으로 서로 인접하여 위치된 복수의 파세트(facet)를 포함하는 제1 코어로서, 각각의 파세트가 상기 제1 섹션에 걸쳐서 상기 길이 방향으로 연장하고, 각각의 파세트가 상기 제1 섹션에 걸쳐서 길이 방향으로 연장하는 스플라인(spline)들을 따라서 인접한 파세트에 연결되며, 상기 제1 코어는 상기 제2 섹션을 향하여 상기 길이 방향을 따라서 연속적인 방식으로 증가하는 직경을 가지는, 상기 제1 코어; 및
상기 스크루 요소의 제1 코어 주위를 감싸는 제1 나선 형상 스크루 플라이트(helically-shaped screw flight)로서, 상기 제1 섹션에 걸쳐서 길이 방향으로 연장하고 상기 복수의 파세트의 외측을 향해 반경 방향으로 돌출되는, 상기 제1 나선 형상 스크루 플라이트를 포함하며;
상기 제2 섹션은,
상기 길이 방향을 따라서 연장하고 원통 형상 표면을 가지는 제2 코어; 및
상기 스크루 요소의 제2 코어 주위를 감싸는 제2 나선 형상 스크루 플라이트로서, 상기 제2 섹션에 걸쳐서 길이 방향으로 연장하고 상기 제2 코어로부터 외측을 향해 반경 방향으로 돌출되는, 상기 제2 나선 형상 스크루 플라이트를 포함하고,
상기 제1 섹션은 상기 제1 코어와 상기 제2 코어 사이에 위치된 스페이서 코어를 추가로 포함하며, 상기 스페이서 코어는 상기 길이 방향을 따라서 연장하고 상기 제2 코어를 향하여 직경이 감소하는 절두형 원뿔면을 형성하는, 압출 기계. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 섹션은 상기 제1 코어 앞에 위치된 예비 코어를 추가로 포함하며, 상기 예비 코어는 상기 길이 방향을 따라서 연장하고 상기 제1 코어를 향해 직경이 감소하는 절두형 원뿔면을 형성하는, 압출 기계.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 스크루 요소는 상기 제1 섹션과 상기 제2 섹션으로 이루어진, 상기 길이 방향을 따르는 길이(length)를 한정하며, 상기 예비 코어와 상기 제1 코어는 상기 스크루 요소의 길이의 2/3인 전체 길이를 가지는, 압출 기계.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 섹션은, 상기 길이 방향의 축 주위를 감싸고 상기 길이 방향을 따라서 연장하는 제3 나선 형상 플라이트를 추가로 포함하며, 상기 제3 나선 형상 플라이트는 상기 제2 나선 형상 플라이트 사이에 위치된 세그먼트들로 분할되며, 상기 제2 나선 형상 플라이트는 상기 반경 방향을 따라서 상기 제3 나선 형상 플라이트보다 더욱 외측을 향해 연장하는, 압출 기계.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 코어는 5, 6, 7 또는 8개의 측면을 가지는 다각형으로 형상화된, 상기 길이 방향에 직교하는 단면을 가지는, 압출 기계.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 섹션은 18% 내지 25%의 범위에 있는 압축비를 가지는, 압출 기계.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 섹션은 22%의 압축비를 가지는, 압출 기계.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 나선 형상 스크루 플라이트는 상기 반경 방향으로부터 55°내지 65°의 범위에 있는 각도(θ)를 형성하는, 압출 기계.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 코어는 상기 길이 방향의 축을 따라서 균일한 직경을 가지는, 압출 기계.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 스플라인들과 상기 파세트들은 상기 스크루 요소의 길이 방향을 따라서 나선형으로 형상화되는, 압출 기계.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 스플라인들은 상기 길이 방향으로부터 0° 내지 +25°의 범위에 있는 각도(α)를 형성하는, 압출 기계.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 스플라인들은 상기 길이 방향으로부터 0° 내지 -25°의 범위에 있는 각도(α)를 형성하는, 압출 기계.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 스플라인들은 상기 길이 방향으로부터 +15°의 각도(α)를 형성하는, 압출 기계.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 스플라인들은 상기 길이 방향으로부터 -15°의 각도(α)를 형성하는, 압출 기계.
