Description
Claims (14)
- 신호 대 간섭 잡음비(signal to interference plus noise ratio)를 결정하는 방법에 있어서,사전결정된 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 세트에 상응하는 경로 메트릭(path metric) 세트를 설정하는 단계와,디지탈 신호를 수신하는 단계와,상기 디지탈 신호에 대한 경로 메트릭을 결정하는 단계와,상기 경로 메트릭을 상기 사전결정된 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 세트 내의 상기 상응하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비에 맵핑하는 단계를 포함하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 디지탈 신호는 코딩된 신호인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 디지탈 신호는 트렐리스 코딩된 신호인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 디지탈 신호에 대한 경로 메트릭을 결정하는 단계는,사전결정되고 Mi/μ로 정의되는 단기 평균 메트릭 값 세트에 상응하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 값 세트를 설정하는 단계와,디코더를 이용하여, 상기 수신 디지탈 신호로부터 mi로 정의되는 디코딩된 경로 메트릭을 결정하는 단계와,mi를 평균하는 단계와,제 2 메모리 유닛에 μ로 정의되는 상기 평균 디코딩된 경로 메트릭을 저장하는 단계와,추정 유클리디안 디스턴스 메트릭을 결정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,추정 유클리디안 디스턴스 메트릭을 결정하는 단계는, 식을 이용하여 수행하되, 상기 추정 유클리디안 디스턴스 메트릭은 Mi로 정의되고, α는 0보다 크고 1.0보다 작은, 사전결정된 필터 계수인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 추정 유클리디안 디스턴스 메트릭을 결정하는 단계는,Mi의 표준 편차를 결정하는 단계와,상기 Mi의 표준 편차에 기초하여 θlow와 θhigh로 정의된 평균 메트릭 문턱값을 결정하는 단계와,상기 Mi값을 상기 μ 값으로 나누어 Mi/μ 값을 결정하는 단계와,Mi/μ가 θlow보다 작으면 상기 Mi/μ값을 상기 상응하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비의 최소값에 맵핑하는 단계와,Mi/μ가 θhigh보다 크면 상기 Mi/μ 값을 상기 상응하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비의 최대값에 맵핑하는 단계와,상기 Mi/μ 값을 상기 상응하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비에 맵핑하는 단계를 포함하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 디코더는 최우 경로(maximum likelihood)를 위한 비터비 디코더(Viterbi decoder)인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 방법.
- 신호 대 간섭 잡음비를 결정하는 시스템에 있어서,사전결정된 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 세트에 상응하는 경로 메트릭 세트를 설정하는 수단과,디지탈 신호를 수신하는 수단과,상기 디지탈 신호에 대한 경로 메트릭을 결정하는 수단과,상기 경로 메트릭을 상기 사전결정된 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 세트 내의 상기 상응하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비에 맵핑하는 수단을 포함하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 시스템.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 디지탈 신호는 코딩된 신호인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 시스템.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 디지탈 신호는 트렐리스 코딩된 신호인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 시스템.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 디지탈 신호에 대한 상기 경로 메트릭을 결정하는 수단은,사전결정되고 Mi/μ로 정의되는 단기 평균 메트릭 값 세트에 상응하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 세트를 설정하는 수단과,디코더를 이용하여, 상기 수신 디지탈 신호로부터 mi로 정의되는 디코딩된 경로 메트릭을 결정하는 수단과,mi를 평균하는 수단과,제 2 메모리 유닛에 μ로 정의되는 상기 평균 디코딩된 경로 메트릭을 저장하는 수단과,추정 유클리디안 디스턴스 메트릭을 결정하는 수단을 더 포함하는 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 시스템.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,추정 유클리디안 디스턴스 메트릭을 결정하는 수단은 식을 이용하여 수행하되, 상기 추정 유클리디안 디스턴스 메트릭은 Mi로 정의되고, α는 0보다 크고 1.0보다 작은, 사전결정된 필터 계수인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 시스템.

- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 디코더는 최우 경로를 위한 비터비 디코더인 신호 대 간섭 잡음비 결정 시스템.
