Claims (12)
- (a) 초기 프레임 시퀀스 구조에 따라 초기 시간 기준(initial temporal reference)을 각각 갖는 기준 프레임과 비-기준 프레임을 포함하는 순차적인 비디오 비트스트림을 수신하는 단계와;(b) 상기 비-기준 프레임을 무시함으로써 상기 기준 프레임의 상기 시간 기준을 리매핑(remapping)하는 단계와;(c) 기본 및 향상 전송 비트스트림(base and enhancement transport bitstreams)을 제공하기 위해서, 각각, 상기 기준 프레임을 기본 패킷-식별자(PID) 과 함께 패킷화하고, 상기 비-기준 프레임을 향상 PID와 함께 패킷화하는 단계를특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, MP@ML 디코딩된 비디오 비트스트림을 제공하기 위해서, 상기 기본 PID를 갖는 패킷만을 MP@ML 디코더를 통해 추출하여 디코딩하는 단계를 또한 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 기본 및 향상 비트스트림을 제공하기 위해서, 상기 기본 PID 및 상기 향상 PID 모두를 갖는 패킷을, MP@ML 디코더를 통해 추출하여 디코딩하고, MP@HL 디코딩된 비디오 비트스트림을 제공하기 위해서 상기 비트스트림을 결합하는 단계를 또한 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 기준 프레임은 I 및 P 프레임을 포함하고, 상기 비-기준 프레임은 B 프레임을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 단계(b)는 상기 기준 프레임이 연속적으로 번호가 매겨지도록 하기 위해서 상기 기준 프레임의 상기 시간 기준을 리매핑하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 각각의 PID는 서비스 채널 식별자(SCID)인 것을 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하는 방법.
- 비디오 신호를 인코딩하기 위한 장치(110)로서,(a) 초기 프레임 시퀀스 구조에 따라 초기 시간 기준을 각각 갖는 기준 프레임과 비-기준 프레임을 포함하는 순차적인 비디오 비트스트림을 수신하고, 상기 비-기준 프레임을 무시함으로써 상기 기준 프레임만의 상기 시간 기준을 리매핑하기 위한 리매퍼(remapper)(202)와;(b) 기본 및 향상 전송 비트스트림을 제공하기 위해서, 각각, 상기 기준 프레임을 기본 패킷-식별자(PID)와 함께 패킷화하고, 상기 비-기준 프레임을 향상 PID과 함께 패킷화하기 위한 전송 패킷화기(210 내지 213)를특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하기 위한 장치.
- 제 7항에 있어서, MP@ML 디코딩된 비디오 비트스트림을 제공하기 위해서, 상기 기본 PID를 갖는 패킷만을 추출하여 디코딩하기 위한 MP@ML 디코더를 또한 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하기 위한 장치.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 기본 및 향상 비트스트림을 제공하기 위해서, 상기 기본 PID 및 상기 향상 PID 모두를 갖는 패킷을, MP@ML 디코더를 통해 추출하여 디코딩하고, MP@HL 디코딩된 비디오 비트스트림을 제공하기 위해서 상기 비트스트림을 결합하기 위한 MP@HL 디코더를 또한 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하기 위한 장치.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 기준 프레임은 I 및 P 프레임을 포함하고, 상기 비-기준 프레임은 B 프레임을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하기 위한 장치.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 리매퍼는 상기 기준 프레임이 연속적으로 번호가 매겨지도록 하기 위해서 상기 기준 프레임의 상기 시간 기준을 리매핑하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 비디오 신호를 인코딩하기 위한 장치.
