Claims (7)
- a) 셀룰로오스를, 다음 식 [AGU 당 알칼리 금속 히드록사이드의 당량 - 1.4] 내지 [AGU 당 알칼리 금속 히드록사이드의 당량 + 0.8]을 사용하여 계산된 양의 알킬 할라이드를 함유하는 현탁제의 존재 하에 가성 수용액으로서 사용되는, AGU 당 1.5 내지 5.5 당량의 알칼리 금속 히드록사이드로 알칼리화하고,b) 알칼리화된 셀룰로오스를 1종 이상의 알킬렌 옥사이드와 65℃ 초과의 온도에서 반응시키고,c) 알킬 할라이드를 AGU 당 이미 첨가된 알킬 할라이드의 당량의 양과 AGU 당 첨가된 알칼리 금속 히드록사이드의 양의 차이 이상의 양으로 추가로 첨가하고, 여기에서 이 양은 최소 AGU 당 0.2 당량이고,d) 수득된 알킬히드록시알킬 셀룰로오스를 반응 혼합물로부터 분리하고 임의로 정제하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 알칼리 존재하에 셀룰로오스와 알킬 할라이드 및 1종 이상의 알킬렌 옥사이드와의 반응에 의한 알킬히드록시알킬 셀룰로오스의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 현탁제로서 디메틸 에테르가 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 알킬 할라이드로서 메틸 클로라이드, 에틸클로라이드, 에틸 브로마이드 및 프로필 요오다이드로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 알킬 할라이드가 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단계 a)에서, 상기 알킬 할라이드로서 메틸 클로라이드가 사용되고, 디메틸 에테르/메틸 클로라이드의 비가 70:30 내지 20:80 중량부의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 알킬렌 옥사이드로서 에틸렌 옥사이드, 프로필렌 옥사이드 및 부틸렌 옥사이드로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 1 종 이상의 알킬렌 옥사이드가 개별적으로 또는 혼합물로 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 알칼리화된 셀룰로오스가 단계 b) 및 c) 에서 65 내지 110℃의 범위의 온도에서 1 종 이상의 알킬렌 옥사이드 및 1종 이상의 알킬 할라이드와 반응되고, 단계 c)에서 첨가되는 알킬 할라이드의 양의 첨가는 이 온도 범위 내에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 메틸히드록시프로필 셀룰로오스 (MHPC)가 바람직하게 상기 알킬히드록시알킬 셀룰로오스로서 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
