Claims (12)
- 포유동물에서 폐암, 골암 (bone cancer), 췌장암, 피부암, 머리 또는 목의 암, 피부 또는 안내(眼內)의 악성 흑색종, 자궁암, 난소암, 신장암, 항문 부분의 암, 위암, 결장암, 유방암, 고환암, 자궁암, 난관암종, 자궁내막 암종, 자궁경부 암종, 질 암종, 음문(陰門) 암종, 호지킨병 (Hodgkin's disease), 비호지킨 림프종, 식도암, 소장암, 내분비계암, 갑상선암, 부갑상선암, 부신암, 연부조직 육종, 요도암, 음경암, 전립선암, 만성 또는 급성 백혈병, 아동의 충실성 종양, 림프구성 림프종, 방광암, 신장 또는 요관암, 신장 세포 암종, 신우 암종, 중추신경계 (CNS)의 신생물 (neoplasm), 원발성 CNS 림프종, 종양 혈관형성, 척추 (spinal axis) 종양, 뇌간 신경교종, 하수체선종(下垂體腺腫), 카포시 육종 (Kaposi's sarcoma), 표피양암, 편평세포암, t-세포 림프종, 및 상기 암들의 조합으로 구성된 군에서 선택된 암을 치료하는데 효과적인 양의 인간 항-CTLA-4 항체를 포함하는, 포유동물에서의 암 치료용 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 항체를 화학요법제, 암 백신, 면역조정제, 항-혈관형성제, 항-혈관 작용제 (anti-vascular agent), 신호 도입 억제제, 항증식제, 아팝토시스 (apoptosis) 유도제 및 생존 경로 억제제로 구성된 군에서 선택된 작용제와 조합하여 포함하는 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 항체를 MMP-2 (매트릭스-메탈로프로테이나제 2 (matrix-metalloproteinase 2)) 억제제, MMP-9 (매트릭스-메탈로프로테이나제 9) 억제제, 및 COX-II (시클로옥시게나제 II) 억제제로 구성된 군에서 선택된 항-혈관형성제와 조합하여 포함하는 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 항체를 유사분열 억제제, 알킬화제, 항-대사물, 삽입성 (intercalating) 항생제, 성장 인자 억제제, 세포 주기 억제제, 효소, 토포이소머라제 억제제, 생물학적 반응 변형제, 항-호르몬, 혈관형성 억제제, 및 항-안드로겐으로 구성된 군에서 선택된 화학요법제와 조합하여 포함하는 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 항체를 EGFR (표피 성장 인자 수용체) 억제제, VEGF (혈관 내피 성장 인자) 억제제, 및 erbB2 수용체 억제제로 구성된 군에서 선택된 신호 도입 억제제와 조합하여 포함하는 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 방사선 요법과 병행하여 투여하기 위한, 포유동물에서 비정상적인 세포 성장 억제 또는 과다증식성 장애의 치료에 효과적인 양의 상기 항체를 포함하는 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, CTLA-4에 결합하는 항체가 CTLA-4에 대한 결합 친화성이 약10-9이상이고; CTLA-4와 B7-1 사이의 결합 억제에 관한 IC50이 약 100 nM 이하이며; CTLA-4와 B7-2 사이의 결합 억제에 관한 IC50이 약 100 nM 이하인 특성을 갖고, VH3-33 유전자의 아미노산 서열에 상응하는 인간 FR1, FR2 및 FR3 아미노산 서열 (상기 FR 서열들은 CDR-1, CDR-2 및 CDR-3 서열과 연결됨)을 포함하는 중쇄 아미노산 서열을 포함하거나, 상기 서열에 보존적 치환 또는 체세포 돌연변이가 일어난 것인 중쇄 아미노산 서열을 포함하며, 또한 그의 경쇄에 A27 또는 O12 유전자로부터의 CDR을 포함하는 것인 제약 조성물.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 FR1, FR2 및 FR3 서열이 VH3-33 유전자의 체세포 돌연변이에 의한 것인 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 항체가 CTLA-4와의 결합에 대해 4.1.1. 4.8.1. 6.1.1 및 11.2.1로 구성된 군에서 선택된 항체의 중쇄 및 경쇄 아미노산 서열을 보유하는 항체와 경쟁하는 것인 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 항체가 3.1.1, 4.1.1, 4.8.1, 4.10.2, 4.13.1, 4.14.3, 6.1.1, 11.2.1, 11.6.1, 11.7.1, 12.3.1.1 및 12.9.1.1로 구성된 군에서 선택된 항체의 CDR-1, CDR-2 및 CDR-3의 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 중쇄 및 상기 항체의 CDR-1, CDR-2 및 CDR-3의 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 경쇄를 포함하거나,또는 상기 CDR 서열에 비극성 잔기의 다른 비극성 잔기에 의한 대체, 극성 대전 잔기의 다른 극성 미대전 잔기에 의한 대체, 극성 대전 잔기의 다른 극성 대전 잔기에 의한 대체 및 구조적으로 유사한 잔기들의 치환으로 구성된 군에서 선택된 보존적 변화, 및 극성 미대전 잔기에 대한 극성 대전 잔기의 치환 및 극성 잔기에 대한 비극성 잔기의 치환, 부가 및 결실로 구성된 군에서 선택된 비보존적 치환으로 구성된 군에서 선택된 변화가 있는 것인 제약 조성물.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 항체가 3.1.1, 4.1.1, 4.8.1, 4.10.2, 4.13.1, 4.14.3, 6.1.1, 11.2.1, 11.6.1, 11.7.1, 12.3.1.1 및 12.9.1.1로 구성된 군에서 선택된 항체의 CDR-1, CDR-2 및 CDR-3의 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 중쇄 및 상기 항체의 CDR-1, CDR-2 및 CDR-3의 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 경쇄를 포함하는 것인 제약 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 항체가 인간 유전자 3-33로부터의 중쇄 아미노산 서열 및 인간 유전자 A27 또는 O12 유전자로부터의 경쇄 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 항체로 구성된 군에서 선택된 것인 제약 조성물.
