Claims (5)
- 유리 원료를 화염 가수분해하여 합성된 석영 유리 미립자를 회전하는 기재 상에서 퇴적 및 성장시켜 실질적으로 원주형인 다공질 석영 유리 모재를 형성하는 공정;상기 다공질 석영 유리 모재를 예비 소결하는 공정; 및예비 소결된 상기 다공질 석영 유리 모재를 유리화 온도 이상으로 가열하여 투명 유리화하는 공정을 포함하는 합성 석영 유리의 제조 방법이며,상기 투명 유리화 공정에 있어서, 다공질 석영 유리 모재의 성장축을 수직으로 한 후에 상기 다공질 석영 유리 모재에 수직으로 하중을 부하하는 것을 특징으로 하는 합성 석영 유리의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 부하하는 하중이 0.4 내지 20.0 g/㎠인 합성 석영 유리의 제조 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 기재된 방법으로 제조된 광학 부재용 합성 석영 유리.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 기재된 방법에서 다공질 석영 유리 모재에 수직으로 하중을 부하하기 위해 사용되는 합성 석영 유리 제조용 지그이며,상기 다공질 석영 유리 모재의 축을 수직으로 유지하면서 상기 다공질 석영 유리 모재가 탑재되는 베이스 테이블;상기 베이스 테이블에 수직으로 설치된 하나 이상의 가이드 부재; 및수직 방향으로 자유롭게 이동할 수 있고 상기 베이스 테이블과의 사이에서 상기 다공질 석영 유리 모재를 협지할 수 있도록 상기 가이드 부재에 의해 지지되는 가압 부재를 포함하고,상기 가압 부재가 상기 다공질 석영 유리 모재에 접촉하면서 유리화 온도 이상으로 가열된 다공질 석영 유리 모재의 수축에 따라 수직으로 강하하여, 가압 부재 그 자체의 중량에 의해 다공질 석영 유리 모재에 수직으로 하중을 부하하는 것을 특징으로 하는 합성 석영 유리 제조용 지그.
- 제4항에 있어서, 탄소 또는 SiC로 제조된 합성 석영 유리 제조용 지그.
