Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 고종횡비 탈크 (HART: high aspect ratio talc)가 하나 이상의 에테르 결합을 포함하는 폴리머 종을 포함하는 표면 처리제로 표면 처리되는, 표면 처리된 HART.
- 제 1항에 있어서, HART의 박층 지수 (lamellarity index)가 적어도 약 3.0인 표면 처리된 HART.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, HART의 d50이 약 1 내지 약 4 μm인 표면 처리된 HART.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 에테르 결합을 포함하는 폴리머 종이 폴리에테르 또는 이의 유도체인 표면 처리된 HART.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 표면 처리된 고종횡비 탈크가 탈크의 중량을 기준으로 하여 약 0.1 내지 약 10 중량%의 표면 처리제, 예를 들어, 약 0.2 내지 약 5 중량%의 표면 처리제를 포함하는 표면 처리된 HART.
- 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 표면 처리된 HART를 수득하기에 적합한 양의 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중의 어느 한 항에서 정의된 바와 같은 HART와 표면 처리제를 혼합하는 것을 포함하여, 표면 처리된 HART를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 표면 처리된 HART 또는 제 6항의 방법에 의해 수득가능한 표면 처리된 HART를 포함하는 기능성 조성물.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 기능성 조성물이 폴리머 조성물인 기능성 조성물.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 폴리머가 폴리프로필렌, 폴리에틸렌, 프로필렌-에틸렌 코폴리머, 또는 이들의 조합물로부터 선택되는 폴리머 조성물.
- 제 7항 내지 제 9항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 기능성 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여 적어도 약 30 중량%의 표면 처리된 HART, 예를 들어, 적어도 약 35 중량%의 표면 처리된 HART, 예를 들어, 적어도 약 40 중량%의 표면 처리된 HART를 포함하는 기능성 조성물.
- 제 7항 내지 제 10항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 알칼리 토금속 카보네이트 또는 설페이트, 예컨대 칼슘 카보네이트, 마그네슘 카보네이트, 돌로마이트, 석고, 함수 칸다이트 점토(hydrous kandite clay), 예컨대, 카올린, 할로이사이트(halloysite) 또는 볼 점토(ball clay), 무수 (하소된) 칸다이트 점토, 예컨대 메타카올린 또는 완전 하소된 카올린, 마이카 (mica), 펄라이트 (perlite), 장석(feldspar), 하석 섬장암(nepheline syenite), 규회석(wollastonite), 규조토(diatomaceous earth), 중정석(barite), 유리, 천연 또는 합성 실리카 또는 실리케이트, 및 박층 지수가 2.8 미만인 탈크, 및 이들의 조합물로부터 선택된, 표면 처리된 고종횡비 탈크 이외의 충전제를 추가로 포함하는 기능성 조성물.
- 폴리머 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여 적어도 약 30 중량%의 양의 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 표면 처리된 HART 또는 제 6항의 방법에 따라 수득가능한 표면 처리된 HART, 예를 들어, 적어도 약 35 중량%의 양의 표면 처리된 HART, 예를 들어, 적어도 약 40 중량%의 양의 표면 처리된 HART를 조합하는 것을 포함하여 폴리머 조성물을 제조하는 방법.
- 기능성 조성물에서 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 표면 처리된 HART 또는 제 6항의 방법에 따라 수득가능한 표면 처리된 HART의 충전제, 예를 들어, 증량 충전제 또는 기능성 충전제로서의 용도.
- 제 8항 내지 제 11항 중의 어느 한 항의 폴리머 조성물로부터 형성된, 예를 들어, 압출되거나 성형된 폴리머 복합체 (composite) 또는 물품.
- 제 8항 내지 제 11항 또는 제 14항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 폴리머 조성물, 또는 이로부터 형성된 폴리머 복합체 또는 물품으로서,
(i) 제 1 비노치 샤르피 충격 강도(unnotched Charpy impact strength) (-20℃ 및/또는 -10℃ 및/또는 0℃)가 표면 처리제로 처리되지 않은 동일량의 고종횡비 탈크를 포함하는 폴리머 조성물, 또는 이로부터 형성된 폴리머 복합체 또는 물품의 제 2 비노치 샤르피 충격 강도 (-20℃ 및/또는 -10℃ 및/또는 0℃)보다 크고/거나;
(ii) 제 1 LTTS가 표면 처리제로 처리되지 않은 동일량의 고종횡비 탈크를 포함하는 폴리머 조성물, 또는 이로부터 형성된 폴리머 복합체 또는 물품의 제 2 LTTS보다 큰, 폴리머 조성물, 또는 이로부터 형성된 폴리머 복합체 또는 물품.
