Claims (19)
- 터치 표면 상에서 터치를 검출하도록 구성되어 있는 센서;
상기 센서와 통신하는 프로세서
를 포함하고,
상기 프로세서는,
상기 터치의 위치를 결정하고;
복수의 위치 각각을 각자의 햅틱 효과에 매핑하는 매핑 파일에 액세스하고;
상기 터치의 위치에 매핑되는 햅틱 효과를 식별하고; 및
상기 햅틱 효과를 출력하도록 구성된 액츄에이터에 햅틱 신호를 전송하도록 구성되는, 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 햅틱 효과는 디스플레이 영역에 표시되는 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스에서 제1 영역과 제2 영역 사이의 경계를 시뮬레이트하도록 구성되는, 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 햅틱 효과는 상기 터치의 위치에서의 마찰 계수의 변동을 포함하는, 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 햅틱 효과는 상기 터치의 위치에서의 텍스처를 포함하는, 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 경계는 키보드의 2개의 시뮬레이트된 키 사이의 경계를 포함하는, 시스템.

상기 터치의 압력을 결정하고; 및
상기 터치의 압력에 부분적으로 기초하여 상기 식별된 햅틱 효과를 수정하도록 더 구성되는, 시스템. - 터치 표면 상의 터치를 검출하는 단계;
상기 터치의 위치를 결정하는 단계;
복수의 위치 각각을 각자의 햅틱 효과에 매핑하는 매핑 파일에 액세스하는 단계;
상기 터치의 위치에 매핑되는 햅틱 효과를 식별하는 단계; 및
상기 햅틱 효과를 출력하도록 구성된 액츄에이터에 햅틱 신호를 전송하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제11항에 있어서, 상기 햅틱 효과는 디스플레이 영역에 표시되는 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스에서 제1 영역과 제2 영역 사이의 경계를 시뮬레이트하도록 구성되는, 방법.
