Abstract
Description
도 1은 일 실시 형태에 따른 브레이징을 통해 결합될 인접한 금속 물품들 사이의 조인트에 조성물이 배치되어 있는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물 및 유동성 브레이징 조성물을 사용하는 브레이징 방법의 개략 측단면도이다.
도 2는 브레이징 후의 도 1에 도시된 바와 같은 금속 물품들의 개략 측단면도이다.
도 3은 도 1의 유동성 브레이징 조성물의 실시 형태에 도시된 바와 같은 플럭스-코팅된 입자의 개략 측단면도이다.
도 4는 일 실시 형태에 따른 니들형(needle-like) 플럭스 입자를 포함하는 유동성 브레이징 조성물의 확대 사진이다.
Claims (10)
- 유동성 브레이징 조성물로서,
적어도 하나의 극성 유기 용매를 포함하며 주위 온도에서 액체인 비-중합체성 담체 매질;
브레이징 재료 코어 및 상기 코어 상에 배치된 플럭스(flux) 코팅을 포함하는 플럭스-코팅된 입자
를 포함하며,
상기 브레이징 재료 코어는 상기 플럭스 코팅과는 상이한 재료를 포함하고, 상기 유동성 브레이징 조성물은 상기 유동성 브레이징 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 1.5 중량% 이하의 중합체성 결합제 성분을 갖는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 조성물은 상기 담체 매질 중의 상기 플럭스-코팅된 입자의 안정한 현탁액이고, 상기 조성물은 약 35℃의 온도에서 25주 이상의 기간 동안 가시적인 용매 분리가 없는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 극성 유기 용매는 C2-C10 지방족 글리콜을 포함하는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 극성 유기 용매는 헥실렌 글리콜을 포함하는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 극성 유기 용매는 상기 유동성 브레이징 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 10 중량% 이상의 양으로 존재하는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 조성물은 상기 플럭스-코팅된 입자와는 별개인 플럭스 입자를 추가로 포함하며, 상기 플럭스 입자는 상기 유동성 브레이징 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 3 중량% 이상의 양으로 존재하는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 플럭스 입자 중 적어도 일부는 길이 대 직경(L/D) 비가 약 3 내지 약 10인, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 브레이징 재료 코어는 Al-Si 합금 또는 이의 전구체를 포함하고, 상기 플럭스 코팅은 금속 할라이드 또는 이의 염을 포함하는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 검출가능한 물이 없는, 유동성 브레이징 조성물.
- 유동성 브레이징 조성물을 사용하여 금속 물품들을 함께 브레이징하는 방법으로서,
적어도 하나의 극성 유기 용매를 포함하며 주위 온도에서 액체인 비-중합체성 담체 매질; 브레이징 재료 코어 및 상기 코어 상에 배치된 플럭스 코팅을 포함하는 플럭스-코팅된 입자를 포함하는 브레이징 조성물을 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 플럭스 코팅은 금속 할라이드를 포함하고 상기 브레이징 재료 코어는 상기 플럭스 코팅과는 상이한 재료를 포함하고, 상기 유동성 브레이징 조성물은 상기 유동성 브레이징 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 1.5 중량% 이하의 중합체성 결합제 성분을 갖는, 상기 단계;
상기 금속 물품들이 결합될 위치에서 상기 금속 물품들 중 적어도 하나 상에 상기 브레이징 조성물을 침착하는 단계;
상기 적어도 하나의 금속 물품을 가열하여 상기 유동성 브레이징 조성물로부터 상기 용매를 실질적으로 제거하는 단계; 및
상기 플럭스-코팅된 입자의 상기 코어를 용융시키기에 충분한 온도 및 시간에서 상기 금속 물품들을 함께 브레이징하는 단계
를 포함하는, 방법.
