Claims (20)
- 머리-장착형 디스플레이(head-mounted display)에서의 메뉴 내비게이션을 위한 방법으로서, 상기 방법은,
머리-장착형 디스플레이에 디스플레이하기 위한 대화형 사용자 인터페이스를 생성하는 단계;
상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이의 이동을 추적하는 단계;
상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이가 이동함에 따라 상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이의 초점의 위치를 식별하는 단계;
사용자 선호도에 기초하여 상기 초점의 위치 주위로 확장되는 연관된 구역을 정의하는 단계;
미리 정의된 시간 기간 동안, 상기 초점 주위로 확장되는 상기 구역이 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소와 중첩되는 것을 검출하는 단계; 및
상기 미리 정의된 시간 기간 동안, 상기 초점 주위로 확장되는 상기 구역이 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소를 둘러싸는 연관된 구역에 걸쳐 중첩되는 것으로 검출되는 경우, 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소에 대응하는 기능을 실행하는 단계
를 포함하고,
상기 생성된 대화형 사용자 인터페이스는 현실-세계 환경에 대응하는 시야에 중첩되며, 상기 생성된 대화형 사용자 인터페이스는 하나 이상의 시각적 요소를 포함하고,
상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이의 이동을 추적하는 단계는 하나 이상의 이동-기반 센서를 통하여 위치 데이터를 생성하는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 초점의 위치는 상기 위치 데이터에 기초하여 식별되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,상기 하나 이상의 시각적 요소는 그래픽, 문자, 또는 비디오를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소는 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소의 상기 디스플레이를 둘러싸는 구역과 연관되며, 상기 연관된 구역은 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소의 상기 디스플레이를 넘어서 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소의 동작 범위를 확장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 연관된 구역의 형상, 사이즈, 가시성, 및 반투명성, 및 상기 미리 정의된 시간 기간 중 적어도 하나는 사용자 정의될 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 초점 주위로 확장되는 상기 구역이 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소와 중첩되는 것을 검출하는 단계는 상기 초점 주위로 확장되는 상기 구역이 상기 연관된 구역과 중첩되는 시점을 검출하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초점의 상기 식별된 위치에 포인터의 디스플레이를 제공하고, 상기 시야의 현재 배경에서 상기 초점 주위로 확장되는 상기 구역을 설정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 연관된 구역의 형상, 사이즈, 가시성, 및 반투명성은 상기 초점에 대해 사용자 정의될 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초점의 상기 식별된 위치가 상기 미리 결정된 시간 기간 동안 상기 적어도 하나의 시각 요소와 중첩되는 것을 검출하는 단계는 상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이와 관련된 내부 시계를 사용하여 상기 미리 결정된 시간 기간을 추적하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 시각적 요소는 메뉴, 선택 박스, 또는 내비게이션 아이콘 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초점의 상기 위치는 사용자의 눈으로부터의 시선에 대응하고, 상기 시선은 상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이와 연관된 렌즈를 통해 캡처되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 머리-장착형 디스플레이 내에서 메뉴 내비게이션을 위한 방법을 수행하기 위한 프로세서에 의해 실행가능한 프로그램을 구현해 놓은 비-일시적 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 저장 매체로서, 상기 방법은:
머리-장착형 디스플레이에 디스플레이하기 위한 대화형 사용자 인터페이스를 생성하는 단계;
상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이의 이동을 추적하는 단계;
상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이가 이동함에 따라 상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이의 초점의 위치를 식별하는 단계;
사용자 선호도에 기초하여 상기 초점의 위치 주위로 확장되는 연관된 구역을 정의하는 단계;
미리 정의된 시간 기간 동안, 상기 초점 주위로 확장되는 상기 구역이 적어도 하나의 시각 요소와 중첩되는 것을 검출하는 단계; 및
상기 미리 정의된 시간 기간 동안, 상기 초점 주위로 확장되는 상기 구역이 상기 적어도 하나의 시각 요소를 둘러싸는 연관된 구역에 걸쳐 중첩되는 것으로 검출되는 경우, 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소에 대응하는 기능을 실행하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 생성된 대화형 사용자 인터페이스는 현실-세계 환경에 대응하는 시야에 중첩되며, 상기 생성된 대화형 사용자 인터페이스는 하나 이상의 시각적 요소를 포함하며,
상기 머리-장착형 디스플레이의 이동을 추적하는 단계는 하나 이상의 이동-기반 센서를 통하여 위치 데이터를 생성하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 초점의 위치는 상기 위치 데이터에 기초하여 식별되는 것을 특징으로 하는 비-일시적 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 저장 매체. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 시각적 요소 중 또다른 하나는 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소와 다른 기능에 대응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기능을 실행하는 단계는 특히 상기 기능에 대한 제어 명령을 기초로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 사용자 선호도에 기초하여 상기 적어도 하나의 시각적 요소의 상기 디스플레이를 둘러싸는 상기 구역을 정의하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초점의 상기 위치를 식별하는 단계는 상기 이동-기반 센서에 의해 생성된 상기 위치 데이터를 상기 초점의 위치 데이터로 변환하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기능을 활성화하는 것은 제스처 입력에 더 기초하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
