Abstract
Description
도 1은 본원에 개시된 바와 같은 방식으로 접착 코팅재 또는 실란트로서 기판의 표면에 적용되어 마감된 물체를 형성하는 본 발명의 조성물을 예시한다.
Claims (21)
- 코어 쉘 비닐 에스테르 수지 및 우레탄 아크릴레이트를 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 코어 쉘 비닐 에스테르 수지가 조성물의 총 중량의 25 내지 95%를 차지하는 것인 조성물.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 코어 쉘 비닐 에스테르 수지가 50 내지 350 nm 범위의 평균 직경을 갖는 코어 쉘 중합체를 포함하는 것인 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 우레탄 아크릴레이트가 조성물의 총 중량의 2 내지 25%를 차지하는 것인 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단량체를 추가로 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 1종 이상의 불포화 폴리에스테르 수지를 추가로 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 조성물이 0.1 내지 10%의 카르바메이트 연결기 함량을 갖는 것인 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 1종 이상의 첨가제를 추가로 포함하는 조성물.
- 제8항에 있어서, 1종 이상의 첨가제가 가교제, 경화제, 요변성제, 공기 방출제/습윤제, 착색제, 공기 방출제, 무기 또는 유기 충전제, 경량화 충전제, 계면활성제, 무기 또는 유기 나노입자 또는 그의 조합을 포함하는 것인 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 조성물이 경화될 때, 조성물이 140℉ 초과의 열 변형 온도를 나타내고/거나 조성물이 5%를 초과하여 연신할 수 있는 것인 조성물.
- 하기를 포함하는 중합체 복합체 물품:
표면을 갖는 중합체 본체를 포함하는 기판; 및
중합체 본체의 표면 상의 코어 쉘 비닐 에스테르 수지를 포함하는 접착 코팅재. - 제11항에 있어서, 접착 코팅재가 우레탄 아크릴레이트 및 임의적으로 1종 이상의 첨가제를 추가로 포함하는 것인 복합체 물품.
- 제11항 또는 제12항에 있어서, 접착 코팅재가, 경화되었을 때, 0.08 인치 초과의 평균 두께를 갖는 것인 복합체 물품.
- 제11항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 기판이 아크릴로니트릴 부타디엔 스티렌, 폴리페닐렌 술피드, 폴리페닐술폰, 폴리에테르술폰, 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 폴리락트산 또는 그의 조합을 포함하며, 이들은 각각 임의적으로 유리 섬유, 탄소 섬유, 대나무 또는 그의 조합으로 강화될 수 있는 것인 복합체 물품.
- 제11항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 접착 코팅재가 경화된 후 기판의 표면과 접착 코팅재 사이의 결합 강도가 적어도 300 psi인 복합체 물품.
- 제11항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 접착 코팅재가 경화된 후 접착 코팅재가 0.10 mm 미만의 마감된 표면 프로파일을 갖는 것인 복합체 물품.
- 하기 단계를 포함하는, 중합체 복합체 물품을 제조하는 방법:
(a) 표면을 갖는 중합체 본체를 포함하는 기판을 형성하는 단계;
(b) 중합체 본체의 표면 상에 접착 코팅재를 적용하며, 여기서 접착 코팅재는 코어 쉘 비닐 에스테르 수지를 포함하는 것인 단계;
(c) 접착 코팅재를 경화시키는 단계. - 제17항에 있어서, 접착 코팅재가 우레탄 아크릴레이트 및 임의적으로 1종 이상의 첨가제를 추가로 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제17항 또는 제18항에 있어서, 기판이 아크릴로니트릴 부타디엔 스티렌, 폴리페닐렌 술피드, 폴리페닐술폰, 폴리에테르술폰, 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 폴리락트산 또는 그의 조합을 포함하며, 이들은 각각 임의적으로 유리 섬유, 탄소 섬유, 대나무 또는 그의 조합으로 강화될 수 있는 것인 방법.
- 제17항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적용 단계가 0.08 인치 초과의 두께를 갖는 조성물의 층을 달성하도록 접착 코팅재를 적용하는 것을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제17항 내지 제20항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하기 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법:
(d) 경화된 접착 코팅재를 기판의 표면의 초기 온도의 10℉ 이내로 냉각시키는 단계;
(e) 접착 코팅재의 추가의 층을 적용하는 단계;
(f) 단계 (e)에서 적용된 접착 코팅재를 경화시키는 단계; 및 임의적으로
(g) 접착 코팅재의 목적하는 평균 두께가 달성될 때까지 단계 (d) - (f)를 반복하는 단계.
