- 하기 일반식 (1)로 표시되는 폴리카르보디이미드 화합물.

(일반식 (1) 중, R1, R3은 이소시아네이트와 반응할 수 있는 관능기를 1개 가지는 유기 화합물의 이소시아네이트와 반응할 수 있는 관능기를 제외한 잔기를 표시하고, R1, R3은 동일하여도 상이하여도 된다. R2는 2,4'-디페닐메탄 디이소시아네이트로부터 이소시아네이트기를 제외한 2가의 잔기인 하기 식 (ⅰ)로 표시되는 기, 및 4,4'-디페닐메탄 디이소시아네이트로부터 이소시아네이트기를 제외한 2가의 잔기인 하기 식 (ⅱ)로 표시되는 기를 포함한다. 상기 폴리카르보디이미드 화합물 중에 있어서의 모든 R2 중의 하기 식 (ⅰ)로 표시되는 기의 비율은 30~70 몰%이고, 하기 식 (ⅱ)로 표시되는 기의 비율은 30~70 몰%이다. X1, X2는 상기 유기 화합물과 이소시아네이트와의 반응에 의해 형성되는 기를 표시하고, X1, X2는 동일하여도 상이하여도 된다. n은 2~50의 정수를 표시한다.)

- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 폴리카르보디이미드 화합물 중에 있어서의 모든 R2 중의 상기 식 (ⅰ)로 표시되는 기의 비율은 50~60 몰%이고, 상기 식 (ⅱ)로 표시되는 기의 비율은 40~50 몰%인, 폴리카르보디이미드 화합물. - 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,
상기 이소시아네이트와 반응할 수 있는 관능기를 1개 가지는 유기 화합물이 모노이소시아네이트, 모노알코올, 모노아민, 모노카르복실산, 및 산무수물로부터 선택되는 적어도 1종인, 폴리카르보디이미드 화합물. - 청구항 3에 있어서,
상기 이소시아네이트와 반응할 수 있는 관능기를 1개 가지는 유기 화합물이 모노이소시아네이트인, 폴리카르보디이미드 화합물. - 에폭시 수지와,
청구항 1 내지 청구항 4 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 폴리카르보디이미드 화합물을 포함하는 열경화성 수지 조성물.
