Claims (12)
- 약난방 신호 및 강난방 신호 중 어느 하나로 이루어진 난방 신호에 따라 난방 운전되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법에 있어서,
(a) 상기 난방 신호를 수신하는 단계;
(b) 상기 난방 신호가 상기 약난방 신호 및 강난방 신호 중 어느 것인지를 판단하는 단계;
(c) 상기 난방 신호가 상기 약난방 신호이면, 상기 가스 난방기의 최대 난방 용량보다 작은 소정의 약난방 용량을 산출하는 단계; 및
(d) 상기 산출된 약난방 용량으로 상기 가스 난방기를 약난방 운전하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 (c) 단계는,
상기 가스 난방기의 내부로 흡입되는 공기의 온도(이하, 흡기 온도)와, 상기 흡기 온도를 기준으로 하여 설정되는 기준 온도의 차이에 따라 상기 약난방 용량을 산출하는 단계인 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 흡기 온도는,
시간의 경과에 따라 가변 가능하고,
상기 기준 온도는,
상기 가변하는 흡기 온도 중 소정 시점에서의 흡기 온도를 기준으로 하여 어느 하나의 온도로 설정되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제2항에 있어서,
상기 기준 온도는,
상기 소정 시점에서의 흡기 온도보다 0.5 내지 2.5℉ 높은 온도로 설정되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제2항에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계는,
상기 가스 난방기가 이전에 수신된 소정의 난방 신호(이하, 이전 신호)에 따라 기운전 중인지를 판단하는 단계;
상기 가스 난방기가 기운전 중이면, 상기 이전 신호가 상기 약난방 신호 및 강난방 신호 중 어느 것인지를 판단하는 단계;
상기 이전 신호가 상기 약난방 신호이고, 신호 변경없이 상기 난방 신호도 상기 약난방 신호이면, 상기 기준 온도는 상기 이전 신호에서의 기준 온도가 되고, 상기 흡기 온도와 상기 기준 온도의 차이에 따라 상기 약난방 용량을 산출하는 단계; 및
상기 이전 신호가 상기 강난방 신호이고, 신호 변경되어 상기 난방 신호는 상기 약난방 신호이면, 상기 기준 온도는 상기 신호 변경 시점에서의 흡기 온도를 기준으로 하여 설정되고, 상기 흡기 온도와 상기 기준 온도의 차이에 따라 상기 약난방 용량을 산출하는 단계를 포함하는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계는,
상기 가스 난방기가 기운전 중이 아니면, 상기 가스 난방기의 내부로 공기를 소정 시간 동안 흡입시키는 단계; 및
상기 기준 온도는 상기 소정 시간 이후의 흡기 온도를 기준으로 하여 설정되고, 상기 흡기 온도와 상기 기준 온도의 차이에 따라 상기 약난방 용량을 산출하는 단계를 포함하는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 가스 난방기 내부로의 공기 흡입은,
상기 가스 난방기에 구비된 송풍팬을 이용해 15초 내지 45초 동안 지속되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제4항 또는 제5항에 있어서,
상기 약난방 용량은,
기설정된 개시 용량을 기준으로, 상기 기준 온도에서 상기 흡기 온도를 뺀 값(이하, 온도차)의 크기에 따라 단계적으로 가변되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 약난방 용량은,
상기 온도차가 제1 기준 범위 이내이면, 상기 개시 용량과 동일하게 유지되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 약난방 용량은,
상기 온도차가 상기 제1 기준 범위보다 큰 제2 기준 범위 이내이면, 상기 개시 용량으로부터 소정 비율이 증가되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 약난방 용량은,
상기 온도차가 상기 제1 기준 범위보다 작은 제3 기준 범위 이내이면, 상기 개시 용량으로부터 소정 비율이 감소되는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제4항 또는 제5항에 있어서,
상기 기준 온도를 저장하는 단계를 더 포함하고,
상기 약난방 용량을 산출하는 단계는,
상기 저장된 기준 온도를 토대로 상기 약난방 용량을 산출하는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 (b) 단계 이후에,
상기 난방 신호가 상기 강난방 신호이면, 상기 가스 난방기의 최대 난방 용량으로 상기 가스 난방기를 강난방 운전하는 단계를 더 포함하는 가스 난방기의 제어 방법.
