제1도는 본 발명에 따른 연소배기가스 처리촉매의 일실시예를 나타내는 부분확대단면도.
제2도는 본 발명의 촉매와 종래 촉매의 성능을 비고실험하기 위하여 사용한 실험장치의 개략단면도.
제3도는 비교실험결과를 표시한 그래프도.

Claims (7)

  1. 촉매층 및 그 촉매층의 표면에 형성되는 열안정성 산화물로 된 피복층으로 구성되 연소배기가스 처리촉매.
  2. 촉매층은 백금, 파라듐 또는 백금과 파라듐의 혼합물질로 형성되어 담체에 담지되어 있으며, 피복층은 알루미나 또는 알루미나 및 실리카, 티타니아, 세리아 또는 질코니아로부터 선택된 최택된 최소한 한종류의 산화물과의 혼합물로 형성됨을 특징으로 하는, 청구범위 1의 연소배기가스 처리촉매.
  3. 담체가 세라믹스, 내열금속 및 내열무기섬유로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 재료로 형성된 하니캄 구조체, 다공체 또는 망상구조체임을 특징으로 하는, 청구범위 2의 연소배기가스 처리촉매.
  4. 피복층의 두께가 15-60um임을 특징으로 하는, 청구범위 1 또는 2의 연소배기가스 처리촉매.
  5. 피복층과 촉매층의 총 BET표면적이 촉매 1g 중량당 15m2이상 되도록 피복층이 피복됨을 특징으로 하는, 청구범위 1 또는 2의 연소배기가스 처리촉매.
  6. 질소흡착법에 따른 세공분포측정법에 의한 세공분포로 세공직경 300A 이하의 미세공의 세공용적이 촉매 1g중량당 0.02ml이상되도록 피복층이 피복됨을 특징으로 하는, 청구범위 1 또는 2의 연소배기가스 처리촉매.
  7. 피복층의 알루미나는 알루미나성분에 있어서 BET표면적이 알루미나 1g중량 100m2이상이며, 질소흡착법에 따른 세공분포측정법에 의하여 세공직경 100Å이하의 미세공의 세공용적이 알루미나 1g중량당 0.2ml이상인 것을 특징으로 하는, 청구범위 1 또는 2의 연소배기가스 처리촉매.
