Claims (9)
- 스캐닝 전극과 데이타 전극에 의해 선택되는 화소의 투과성이 상기 스캐닝 전극과 데이타 전극에 인가되는 전압차에 의하여 변화되는 디스플레이 장치에 있어서, 복수개의 스캐닝 전극과 데이타 전극을 갖는 디스플레이 패널과, 스캐닝 신호의 수신에 의해 상기 디스플레이 패널의 스캐닝 전극에 스캐닝 전압을 공급하기 위한 스캐닝 전압 발생기와, 데이타 신호의 수신에 의해 상기 디스플레이 패널의 데이타 전극에 데이타 전압을 공급하기 위한 데이타 전압 발생기와, 실질적인 직교성을 갖는 직교 함수 신호를 발생하기 위한 직교 함수 발생기와, 단일 화상용 신호를 복수개의 부화상용 신호로 분배하기 위한 필드 비디오 신호 변환기와 상기 직교 함수 발생기로부터 발생된 직교 함수 신호에 의해 입력 신호의 직교 변환을 실행하기 위한 직교변환 신호 발생기가 상호 직렬로 접속되어 있는 것을 포함하고, 직교 함수 발생기에서 발생된 직교 함수 신호와 기정된 비디오 신호에 기초하는 데이타 신호를 처리하기위한 데이타 형성 회로 및 데이타 신호에 포함되어 비선택 시간중에 하나의 화소에 인가되는 실효 전압이 어떠한 화소에 대하여도 실질적으로 일정하도록 하는 정정 신호를 발생하기 위한 정정 신호 발생기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정정 신호 발생기의 출력이 필드 비디오 신호 변환기 또는 직교 함수 발생기의 출력에 중첩되는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정정 신호 발생기의 출력이 필드 비디오 신호 변환기 또는 직교 함수 발생기의 입력에 중첩되는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 데이타 신호 형성 회로가 필드 비디오 신호 변환기에 화상 번호를 제공하기 위한 필드 카운터를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이 장치가 액정 표시 장치의 디스플레이 장치.
- 복수개의 스캐닝 전극에 선택 전압을 동시에 인가함으로써, 복수개의 스캐닝 전극과 데이타 전극을 구비하고 상기 스캐닝 전극과 데이타 전극에 의해 선택되는 화소의 투광성이 상기 스캐닝 전극과 데이타 전극에 인가되는 전압차에 의하여 변환되는 디스플레이 장치를 구동하기 위한 데이타 신호 형성 방법에 있어서, 데이타 신호가 (1) 단일 화상용 비디오 신호를 복수개의 부화상용 비디오 신호로 분배시키는 것과 직교 변환하는 것에 의하여 형성되는 제1신호 및, (2) 비선택 시간중에 하나의 화소에 인가되는 실효 전압이 어떠한 화소에 대하여도 실질적으로 일정하도록 상기 제1신호를 정정하기 위한 제2신호를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 신호 형성 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 데이타 신호가 독립된 시간 주기내에 상기 제1신호와 제2신호를 중첩시킴으로써 형성되는 데이타 신호 형성 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 동시 중첩된 상기 제1 및 제2신호를 포함하는 데이타 신호는 스캐닝 전극이 동시에 선택된 각 그룹에 상기 제2신호를 처리시킴으로써 형성되고, 상기 조작에 의하여 얻어진 신호는 비디오 신호에 중첩된 후 직교 변환되는 데이타 신호 형성 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이 장치가 액정 표시 장치의 데이타 신호 형성 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
