Abstract

UNE COMPOSITION PHARMACEUTIQUE Une composition topique comporte 5 % en poids au moins de métronidazole ou un dérivé de celui ci acceptable en termes de pharmacologie, dans un excipient non aqueux. La composition peut être utilisée dans le traitement des maladies du côlon, du rectum, de l'anorectum et de la zone péri-anale, en particulier la maladie d'inflammation intestinale et la maladie péri-anale de Crohn. La composition soulage aussi la douleur et l'inflammation et contribue à la guérison du côlon, du rectum, de l'anorectum et de la zone péri-anale suite à des opérations chirurgicales. Un avantage de cette composition c'est que l'administration topique du métronidazole provoque un effet essentiellement local et de cette manière des effets secondaires observés dans l'administration sont évités.
