Abstract

Un aspect de l'invention concerne un procédé pour la fabrication du corps d'un kit de bidon. Le procédé comprend les étapes du cintrage d'une tôle métallique plane et non peinte (10) en une forme cylindrique (12) et de la soudure des bords libres (14) de la tôle cintrée pour en faire un corps cylindrique (18). Ce corps est provisoirement raidi et de la peinture est appliquée sur l'extérieur du corps provisoirement raidi. Ensuite le corps est déraidi avant d'être déformé de manière à prendre une forme convenant pour l'emboîtement avec d'autres corps semblables. D'autres aspects de l'invention concernent l'appareillage utilisé dans le procédé et le kit de bidon même, y compris le corps ainsi que le haut et le fond, lesquels peuvent être fixés aux extrémités respectives du corps. Un autre aspect encore de l'invention concerne un kit de corps de bidon ayant une forme tubulaire, qui convient pour l'emboîtement avec d'autres corps semblables, et qui comporte une ligne de soudure s'étendant d'une extrémité à l'autre du corps. L'extérieur du corps, y compris la ligne de soudure, est recouvert d'une couche de peinture continue appliquée au corps par une opération de pulvérisation à roulettes. Figure 6
