Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'acétylation de bois qui consiste à immerger le bois dans un fluide d'acétylation sous pression, puis à chauffer le bois dans des conditions contrôlées, afin de déclencher deux réactions exothermiques distinctes. Le procédé permet de valoriser simultanément de grandes quantités de tailles de bois du commerce qui présentent une classe de durabilité naturelle de 4 ou 5, de manière à obtenir un produit unique qui présente une classe de durabilité naturelle de 1 ou 2.
