Abstract

L'invention concerne un frein à disque équipé d'un système de commande de la position de montage des plaquettes de freins et lesdites plaquettes de frein. Ces plaquette de freins comprennent dans leurs deux moitiés des découpes (3) qui déterminent une correspondance d'emboîtement avec des proéminences respectives (4) définies dans leurs logements (5) de fixation, de sorte que les découpes (3) des deux moitiés de chaque plaquette de frein délimitent des volumes équivalents, les découpes (3) des moitiés de plaquette de frein étant situées à des distances (s1 et s2) différentes par rapport à l'axe central (6) de la plaquette et/ou ayant une configuration différente, au moins au niveau de son bord supérieur.
