Abstract

La présente invention porte sur l'inhibition de dépôts de tartre dans une bouillie ou solution acide. La présente invention utilise un mélange synthétique aqueux comprenant un phosphate, un phosphonate, un polymère anionique ou des combinaisons de ceux-ci dans la bouillie et/ou solution pour inhiber le tartre pendant le traitement d'un minerai. La production de tartre dans un environnement acide est difficile, car la solution acide neutralise la plupart des inhibiteurs connus. L'invention telle que revendiquée assure une diminution significative de la production de tartre, ce qui permet de réduire les temps d'arrêt des systèmes pour les opérations de détartrage.
