Abstract
La présente invention porte sur des plantes de la famille cucurbitacées et des graines de telles plantes ayant un phénotype androïque alors même que ce type sexuel n'est pas naturel chez lesdites plantes. L'invention porte également sur l'utilisation des plantes et des graines de plantes de l'invention. L'invention porte, en outre, sur la séquence d'acide nucléique responsable de l'androécie chez les plantes de l'invention et sur le polypeptide codé par ladite séquence d'acide nucléique. L'invention porte, finalement, sur des procédés d'identification des plantes et graines de l'invention.
