Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de production d'acide phosphorique. Une roche phosphatée est dissoute dans l'acide phosphorique dans un récipient de réaction pour former une bouillie. La bouillie est ensuite mise à réagir dans un premier étage de cristallisation avec de l'acide sulfurique pour produire du sulfate de calcium hémihydraté et de l'acide phosphorique. L'acide produit est séparé à partir des hémihydrates par filtration, et le gâteau de filtre est ensuite mis à réagir, dans une seconde étape de cristallisation, avec de l'acide sulfurique supplémentaire pour produire du sulfate de calcium dihydraté (gypse) et une solution de récupération. Le gypse est séparé de la solution de récupération par filtration et éliminé comme sous-produit. La solution de récupération est recyclée dans le réservoir de transformation et dans l'étape de filtration d'hémihydrate.
