Abstract

L'invention porte sur un nucléopolyhédrovirus (npv), sur une composition comprenant le npv, et sur un procédé comprenant l'utilisation du npv. Le npv a été isolé à partir de cryptophlebia peltastica et a une activité insecticide contre plusieurs espèces de papillons de nuit de la tribu des tortricidae, les grapholitini. Le npv ou la composition peut être approprié(e) pour être utilisé(e) dans la lutte contre des populations d'insectes, en particulier des populations d'insectes qui infestent les plantes.
