Abstract

L'invention concerne notamment la génération d'une mesure d'authenticité d'un objet (20) comportant une surface (30) comportant une couche préexistante non uniforme (40) ou recouverte de celle-ci. Un marquage (50) a été imprimé sur la surface (30) de telle sorte qu'une propriété de la couche préexistante (40) est détectable par le biais d'au moins une partie du marquage (50). Le marquage (50) comporte une représentation d'un code lisible par machine. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à imager (s100) le marquage (50); lire (s200) le code représenté par le marquage imagé; générer (s300) une signature en fonction de la propriété de la couche préexistante (40) tel que l'a détecté le dispositif d'imagerie (10) par le biais d'au moins une partie de la représentation imagée du code lisible par machine; et générer une mesure d'authenticité de l'objet (20) en fonction du code lu et de la signature générée. L'invention concerne également des appareils, des systèmes et des programmes informatiques à cet effet.
