Abstract
La présente invention concerne un inoculant pour la fabrication de fonte avec du graphite lamellaire, compacté ou sphéroïdal. L'inoculant comprend un alliage de ferrosilicium particulaire comprenant entre 40 et 80 % en poids de silicium, entre 0,5 et 5 % en poids de calcium et/ou de strontium et/ou de baryum, entre 0 et 10 % en poids de terres rares, par exemple le cérium et/ou le lanthane, entre 0 et 5 % en poids de magnésium, moins de 5 % en poids d'aluminium, entre 0 et 10 % en poids de manganèse et/ou zirconium, et le reste étant du fer, ledit inoculant contenant en outre 0,1 à 10 % en poids de particules d'oxyde de bismuth particulaire et facultativement entre 0,1 et 10 % en poids d'un ou plusieurs sulfures métalliques particulaires et/ou un ou plusieurs oxydes de fer particulaires, ledit oxyde de bismuth particulaire étant mélangé ou incorporé aux particules de ferrosilicium, ou est ajouté simultanément à de la fonte conjointement avec les particules de ferrosilicium particulaire. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de production de l'inoculant.
