Abstract

La présente invention concerne la valorisation des sous-produits de lexploitation des phosphates, notamment les stériles, comme élément de renfort dun nouveau matériau thermoplastique à haute performance. Elle consiste à incorporer lesdits stériles, après traitement adéquat, à des polymères thermoplastiques en vue dobtenir un matériau composite thermoplastique contenant comme ballast minéral une combinaison de minéraux cristallins comprenant argiles, carbonates, silicates oxydes métalliques et oxydes métalloïdiques Ce matériau offre de nouvelles opportunités technologiques et commerciales à plusieurs secteurs de la plasturgie ou de l'industrie aérospatiale, automobile ou électronique.
