Abstract

Invenţia se referă la biotehnologie, în special la modificarea genetică a plantelor pentru a le conferi toleranţă la glifosat, şi anume la o plantă de porumb transformată cu o genă care produce enzima EPSPS ce îi asigură rezistenţă la aplicarea glifosatului în condiţiile în care acest erbicid este eficient pentru distrugerea buruienilor, totodată, invenţia se referă la o transformare VCO-Ø1981-5 care include construcţia genei, seturi şi metode de detectare a prezenţei acestei modificări genetice.
