Abstract

The invention refers to the wine industry, in particular to a process for strong drink production. The process, according to the invention, includes preparation of blending from new wine distillate, rectified ethyl alcohol and/or ethanol, softened water, sugar syrup and caramel, enrichment of blending with oak wood components by thermal maceration on chopped oak wood un to the attainment of the dry reduced extract concentration of at least 0,25 g/dm3 and subsequent ageing in the presence of oak staves.The result consists in increasing the quality and stability of the finished product.
