Abstract

The invention relates to the bilateral solar-to-electric energy converters and to processes for manufacture thereof. The bilateral solar cell consists of a basic semiconductor material, two junctions, formed on the frontal and dorsal parts of the basic semiconductor material, and contact metal lattices. The formed junctions are isotype with respect to the basic semiconductor material. The process for manufacturing the bilateral solar cell includes formation of two junctions on the frontal and dorsal parts of the basic semiconductor material and of the contact metal lattices. The frontal junction is formed in the form of a semiconductor-dielectric-semiconductor structure by the method of chemical solution pyrolytic pulverization. The structure of the frontal junction can be nSi-iSiO2-n+ITO, and as chemical solution there may be used a composition formed of 1M InCl3:1M SnCl4:C2H5OH in the proportion of 9:1:10.
