Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método (régimen de dosis) para la administración de un anticuerpo biespecífico EpCAMxCD3 a un paciente humano, que comprende (a) administrar constantemente una primera dosis del anticuerpo para un primerio periodo de tiempo; y consecutivamente (b) administrar constantemente una segunda dosis del anticuerpo para un segundo periodo de tiempo, en donde la segunda dosis excede a la primera. Los métodos de la invención (e igualmente el régimen de dosis de la invención) también son adecuados para el tratamiento de células cancerígenas epiteliales positivas EpCAM en un paciente humano, o para mejorar y/o prevenir una condición médica mediada por la administración continua de un anticuerpo biespecifico EpCAMxCD3 a un paciente humano. La presente invención también se refiere al uso de un anticuerpo biespecífico EpCAMxCD3 para la preparación de una composición farmacéutica que será usada en un método como se define en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes. Un embalaje o kit farmacéutico que comprende la primera dosis y la segunda dosis como se define en el régimen de métodos/dosis de la presente invención también se describe.
