Abstract

Described is a row unit for sowing machine. The invention comprises a row unit chassis and an arrangement of measurement wheel for adjusting the height of the chassis of the unit with regard to the ground, the wheel arrangement comprising an oscillating arm, where one first section of the end portion of the oscillating arm is connected in a pivoting manner to the chassis inside a pivoting axis of the oscillating arm, a measuring wheel being rotatably attached over the second section of the end portion of the oscillating arm. A stop is proposed in order to facilitate the adjustment for the penetration depth of a tool that is brought into contact with the ground over the row unit, this may limit the pivot movement of the oscillating arm by hooking the first section of the end portion of the oscillating arm, which is moved by a lever to different limit positions.
