Abstract

La presente invención está dentro del campo de la producción industrial de proteínas. La invención proporciona un nuevo sistema de expresión que usa dihidroorotato-deshidrogenasa (DHODH) como un marcador de selección en combinación con leflunomida o uno de sus metabolitos, principalmente para uso en líneas celulares de mamíferos. Asimismo se proporcionan vectores de expresión que codifican la DHODH, líneas celulares que comprenden dichos vectores y métodos para producir proteínas recombinantes.
