Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a la modificación de cemento hidratable y materiales cementosos, tales como cemento mortero y mampostería o mezcla de concreto lista para usarse, utilizando material residual de petróleo alcohol cetona ("KAOW"), obtenido como un subproducto residual de licores solubles en álcali en una cierta etapa de la producción comercial de ciclohexanol y ciclohexanona. Las aplicaciones preferidas para KAOW se encuentran en formulaciones de mezclas químicas, en las que KAOW para sustituir una parte de un dispersante de cemento, como puede ser lignosulfonato de sodio, gluconato de sodio u otro dispersante convencional. Otro uso preferido es en el cemento mortero y unidades de concreto de mampostería tales como bloques, adoquines, bordillos y otras unidades de mampostería de concreto en donde los sistemas de burbujas de aire fomentan ventajosamente la duración frente a la congelación-descongelación.
