Abstract
Se proporciona un rotor (10) para una máquina eléctrica de flujo axial (12). El rotor (10) comprende un bastidor central (20) con forma de disco anular formado por un material ferromagnético y que tiene primera y segunda superficies opuestas (26, 28). El rotor (10) comprende además primer y segundo bastidores exteriores (22, 24) formados de un material eléctricamente conductor no ferromagnético. Cada bastidor exterior (22, 24) tiene una porción periférica interior (32) y una porción periférica exterior (34) y una pluralidad de barras (36) que conectan galvánicamente las porciones periféricas interior y exterior (32, 34). Las porciones de espacio (38) se definen entre las barras adyacentes (36) y las porciones periféricas interior y exterior (32, 34). Las porciones de espacio (38) se conforman complementarias a las protuberancias conformadas (40) del bastidor central (20).
