Abstract

La invención está dirigida a polímeros funcionalizados y composiciones de estabilización que contienen polisacáridos y derivados polisacáridos funcionalizados con restos amina, alquilo y/o alquilo/amina y métodos para reducir el hinchamiento de suelos y especialmente suelos que contienen arcilla con polímeros y composiciones de estabilización funcionalizados de la invención. La presente invención supera los problemas y desventajas asociados con estrategias y diseños actuales y proporciona nuevas herramientas, composiciones y métodos para estabilizar suelos y otros materiales.
