Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento de detección de enfermedades inducidas por C. perfringens en animales, comprendiendo el procedimiento: a) recoger el material de muestra de un animal específico o de un grupo específico de animales en momentos consecutivos; b) determinar la cantidad de un primer marcador y un segundo marcador contenidos en el material de muestra; y c) determinar la proporción del primer marcador con respecto al segundo marcador contenidos en el material de muestra; en el que el primer marcador comprende una secuencia de polinucleótidos que es específica para la subespecie de C. perfringens que induce la enfermedad diana; y el segundo marcador comprende un polinucleótido que es específico para la especie C. perfringens; y en el que un aumento en la proporción del primer marcador con respecto al segundo marcador en el material de muestra analizado a lo largo del tiempo es una indicación de la enfermedad diana.
