Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición para alimentar a un rumiante, que comprende i) un compuesto de nitrógeno no proteico y ii) un revestimiento que rodea el compuesto de nitrógeno no proteico, en donde dicho revestimiento comprende una o más capas de una mezcla de una grasa saturada y un ácido graso, y dicho revestimiento comprende del 60 % en peso +/- 10 % al 85 % en peso +/- 10 % de la grasa saturada, por ejemplo, grasa hidrogenada, y del 15 % en peso +/- 10 % al 40 % en peso +/- 10 % del ácido graso, cada uno sobre la base del peso total del revestimiento; un proceso para la preparación de dicha composición y sus usos, por ejemplo, para mejorar el uso del nitrógeno en un rumiante.
