Abstract
Un proceso para recuperar cobre de los residuos de lixiviación en pilas que contienen cobre residual, el cual incluye identificar una zona de producción dentro de los residuos de lixiviación en pilas para la lixiviación secundaria, perforar pozos en la pila, en lugares adecuados, para entregar la solución de lixiviación en la zona de producción, inyectar la solución de lixiviación, incluyendo iones fénicos a través de los pozos y airear la zona de producción para facilitar las reacciones oxidativas dentro de la zona de producción, así como recolectar efluentes de la pila para la recuperación de cobre de los mismos.
