Abstract

Se describe un método para determinar la permeabilidad de un medio poroso que comprende los pasos: a) obtener una imagen tridimensional del medio poroso mediante un sistema de imagen, b) dividir la imagen tridimensional en un número n de cortes paralelos bidimensionales, en donde n es un entero de 2 o más, c) identificar uno o más poros en un corte más exterior (n1) usando una malla que define pixeles de imagen, d) identificar uno o más poros en un segundo corte (n2) directamente colindantes al primer corte más exterior (n1), y e) etiquetar el uno o más poros en el segundo corte (n2) como conectados si al menos uno de sus vecinos en el primer corte más exterior (n1) es un poro para dar un número de poros conectados como un resultado de conectividad. También se describe un sistema que comprende medios para llevar a cabo dicho método.
