Abstract
Se provee un proceso para recolectar huevos de peces, en particular huevos de peces de salmón. El proceso comprende criar salmón sexualmente inmaduro en un entorno acuático, en fases durante las cuales se ajusta por lo menos la exposición a luz y el lapso de tiempo. La crianza incluye por lo menos un período invierno-verano que comprende una fase de ciclo vital invernal, dentro de la cual la población de reproductores se expone a luz que simula una exposición a luz invernal, y una fase de ciclo vital veraniego subsecuente, dentro de la cual la población de reproductores se expone a luz que simula una exposición a luz veraniega, en donde la Unidad Térmica Acumulada (ATU) total, durante el período invierno-verano, no es de más de 5000. La invención también provee huevos de salmón que se producen por el proceso dado a conocer.
