Abstract
La presente invención hace referencia a composiciones con propiedades antioxidantes, en particular para usarse en alimentos o como alimento. En un primer aspecto, la invención proporciona una composición que comprende jengibre en polvo, salvia en polvo y romero en polvo; en donde las partículas del jengibre en polvo tienen un tamaño inferior a 800 µm, y la salvia en polvo y el romero en polvo tienen un tamaño inferior a 500 µm; y en donde el jengibre en polvo (J), la salvia en polvo (S) y el romero en polvo (R) están presentes en una proporción de peso de J: S: R = 1 a 4: 1 a 3: 1 a 3. La invención también hace referencia a un método para mejorar la estabilidad oxidativa de una composición alimenticia y para utilizar de una combinación de jengibre en polvo, salvia en polvo y romero en polvo como un antioxidante, en donde las partículas del jengibre en polvo tienen un tamaño inferior a 800 µm, y la salvia en polvo y el romero en polvo tienen un tamaño inferior a 500 µm; y en donde el jengibre en polvo (J), la salvia en polvo (S) y el romero en polvo (R) están presentes en una proporción de peso de J : S : R = 1 a 4 : 1 a 3 : 1 a 3.
