Abstract
Un método para el tratamiento térmico de un objeto de chapa metálica, que comprende la etapa de calentar al menos una porción seleccionada del objeto (100) usando un haz de energía (2). El haz (2) se proyecta sobre una superficie del objeto (100) para producir un punto primario (2A) en el objeto, escaneándose repetidamente el haz en dos dimensiones de acuerdo con un patrón de escaneado para establecer un punto efectivo (21) sobre el objeto, teniendo el punto efectivo una distribución de energía bidimensional. El punto efectivo (21) se desplaza con respecto a la superficie del objeto (100) para calentar progresivamente dicha al menos una porción seleccionada del objeto. El patrón de escaneado comprende una pluralidad de segmentos curvados interconectados.
