Abstract
Un sistema de medición usa un montaje electrónico con un transductor individual para determinar un caudal. El montaje medidor emite un haz ultrasónico desde el transductor y divide el haz ultrasónico en un primer haz parcial y un segundo haz parcial. El primer haz parcial se transmite sobre una primera trayectoria que regresa al montaje electrónico, y el segundo haz parcial se transmite sobre una segunda trayectoria que regresa al montaje electrónico. La primera trayectoria va sobre una primera distancia neta de un canal de medición. La segunda trayectoria va sobre una segunda distancia neta del canal de medición. El montaje medidor detecta el retorno del primer haz parcial y el segundo haz parcial, mide una diferencia de tiempo entre los tiempos de retorno y determina una medición de un flujo de fluido a través del canal de medición con base en la diferencia de tiempo.
