Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para conectar un terminal de cable tubular (2) producido a partir de un -metal no ferroso con un hilo (11) producido a partir de aluminio, dicho método comprende los siguientes pasos: proporcionar un terminal de cable tubular (2) que tiene una porción tubular (3) y una porción de conexión (4) que se extiende desde ahí, proporcionar un dispositivo de soldadura ultrasónica que tiene un sonotrodo (5) que tiene una superficie de presión (7) curvada semejante a una cresta y con un yunque (1) que tiene una superficie de presión coincidente (10) curvada semejante a una cresta, asegurar la porción de conexión (4) al yunque (1) sujetando de tal manera que la porción tubular (3) se oriente hacia la superficie de presión coincidente (10) del yunque (1), insertar un extremo (E) del hilo (11) en la porción tubular (3) del terminal de cable tubular (2), poner la superficie de presión (7) en contacto con la porción tubular (3), presionar la superficie de presión (7) contra la porción tubular (3) de tal manera que la porción tubular (3) se desplace hacia la superficie de presión coincidente (10), y generar una vibración ultrasónica orientada aproximadamente perpendicular a un eje de tubo (A1) de la porción tubular (3) por medio del sonotrodo (5), de tal manera que la porción tubular (3) se deforma y el hilo de aluminio (11) ahí insertado se suelda por lo menos en porciones.
