Abstract

Se provee un encamisado de Zircaloy que tiene una región exterior quecomprende precipitados finos y una región interior que comprendeprecipitados gruesos. La región exterior comprende aproximadamente 10% yla región interior comprende aproximadamente 90% del espesor de pared delencamisado. Dicho tubo de zircaloy es resistente a la propagación degrietas y, al mismo tiempo, resistente a la corrosión en reactores de aguahirviendo (RAH). La resistencia a los daños provocados por la interacciónde pella-encamisado, se puede lograr mediante aplicación normal de unforro de zirconio o de aleación de zirconio sobre la superficie interiordel tubo.
