Abstract
Un sistema para preparar plasma autologo comprende una unidad de filtro de un solo uso que tiene dos entradas en comunicacion de fluido una con otra, una salida y una membrana de filtracion selectivamente permeable a plasma sanguíneo que separa las entradas de la salida. Bombas de un solo uso manualmente operables, preferiblemente jeringas, se conectan a las entradas. Una trayectoria de flujo está definida a lo largo de la membrana entre las bombas, por lo que la sangre entera se puede intercambiar repetidamente entre las dos bombas, más allá de la membrana, para hacer que el plasma fluya a través de la membrana y hacia el exterior por la salida. Una jeringa puede recoger plasma de la salida. El plasma así recogido se puede aplicar simultáneamente con una solucion de trombina a un sitio sobre el cuerpo, formando así un gel de fibrina.
